Didot
Typeface Specimen Poster
For this project, I created a Typeface Specimen poster using the font, Didot. I researched information on the font's history and learned that Didot was inspired by Baskerville, another famous typeface. It is a very classic font that is known to have a 'dazzle' effect and unique thin style.
My final poster uses shades of blue to reflect Didot's Greek heritage, and includes the name of the font, its history, a pangram, the classification, some anatomy, as well as the full alphabet.
